

Home Modification for NDIS Participants
The objective of home modification is to assist participants in remaining living in their own homes. The provision of necessary and affordable modifications creates a safer home environment and assists participants in completing daily living tasks more easily and maintaining independence.
Home modification services may include, but are not limited to:
Bathroom/Toilet Modifications
This includes replacement of a bath with a hob-less shower, installation of grab rails, relocation of washbasin or toilet
Kitchen Modifications
This includes lowering of benchtops, replacement of ovens, providing wheel-in space under sinks
Residential Building Work
This includes painting, flooring, air conditioning along with any additional OT recommendations.
Access Modification
This includes ramps, handrails, widening of doorways, construction of easy step pathways and gates.
Electrical Modifications
This includes re-setting of switches and changing power points to rocker switches
Stairlifts and Assistive Technology
This may include auto opening doors, stairlifts and tech assistive appliances
